Clearly Local (ABN 91 970 542 709) ("we", "us") takes privacy seriously. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and who we share it with.

1. What we collect

From you: name, business name, phone, email, suburbs and links you give us in our audit form, by email or by phone.
To deliver the service: access to your Google Business Profile and its performance data, call and enquiry records from your tracked number and form, and your billing details.
Your customers' information: if you give us a list (for example names and mobile numbers or emails) so we can send review requests or seasonal messages.
Messages you send us: if you contact us by SMS or WhatsApp, we receive your phone number and the content of your message.
Payments: handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your card number.

2. Why we collect it

To reply to your enquiry, deliver and report on our services, bill you, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

3. Who we share it with

Only the service providers we use to run the service: payment processing (Stripe), form handling (Web3Forms), website hosting (Cloudflare), telephony and SMS ([provider]), email, and accounting. If you message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp (Meta) also handles that conversation under its own terms. Some of these may store information outside Australia [confirm].

4. Your customers' information

You confirm you have the right to give us any customer information. We use it only to do the work you asked for, we never share it with another client, and we delete it within [30] days of the end of our service [confirm].

5. Security and retention

We limit access to the people who need it and use reputable providers. We keep information only as long as we need it for the service and our legal obligations.

6. Access, corrections and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you by emailing admin@clearlylocal.au. If you are not happy with how we handle a request, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
